In Tucson, it was the opener of Tucson Roller Derby's season #5. In the first bout, The Copper Queens without star jammer Cheap Ore was able to manage to defeat the Iron Curtain 87-69. In the second bout, the Furious Truckstop Waitresses, who was also skating short was able to use a jammer rotation of primarily Sloppy Flo and Peaches Rodriguez to trample Whiskey Mick and Vice Squad with a final score of 95-46.
TRD's next bout will be on March 15 with another doubleheader where we will see the #2 Copper Queens take on the #1 FTW and the #3 Vice Squad take on the #4 Iron Curtain. This bout will be at Bladeworld in Tucson. For more information, visit http://www.tucsonrollerderby.com
