Michi-chan Roller Sports Productions, operator of the official site for the Arizona Derby Report has converted to a new content management system replacing the prior web services that were mainly manual in nature.
The new site includes a database of bouts, statistics, historical information as well as information on upcoming events as well as places to skate.
A new section called ARIZONA DERBY 101 is intended to reach out to those who are unfamiliar with today's sport of roller derby or just the Arizona flat track scene. Additional tutorials and other valuable information will be added to "Derby 101" as we go forward.
The AZDR will still continue to blog to MySpace as well as leadjammer.com if they continue to keep individual blogs up and going despite their transition to Derby News Network.
We are currently aware of several software bugs with this package and various features may not be working right. This software was originally designed for various European team sports but we have been working to make it adaptive to roller derby.
We are also aware that right now, some of the content from michichan.com such as the PDF bout summaries have not been uploaded to the new platform. We will be working on that.
We will add more as we go along but for now, please enjoy your new first stop for everything derby in Arizona.
