Based on information received from Tucson Roller Derby and sources at the rinks, we have the following final scores from TRD:
BOUT 1
Vice Squad - 164
Iron Curtain - 14
BOUT 2
Copper Queens - 125
FT Waitresses - 73
The AZDR had heard a report that during the Vice vs. Iron Curtain bout, newcomer to TRD (but no stranger to derby) Helen Wheels had two 15-point jams.
In the Copper Queen vs. FTW bout, we had heard that an FTW skater was ejected from the game either from a disturbance or the disturbance was caused which resulted in about a 5-10 minute delay in the game. Again, we do not have full information at this time.
With these final scores, the Copper Queens take the first place ranking (4-1) followed by the FTW (3-2), Vice Squad (2-3) and the Iron Curtain (0-5).
The last regular season bout is July 19 at Bladeworld.
First, the Copper Queens go against Vice Squad and the Furious Truckstop Waitresses will take on the Iron Curtain.
