Two Phoenix area leagues were bouting last night. Over on the west-side, Arizona Derby Dames had a doubleheader which featured the Runaway Brides in their debut bout take on the Bombshells and the School Yard Scrappers, coming off of a huge (and their first) win to take on the Coffin Draggers. On the east-side, Arizona Roller Derby had the Bruisers (sans Ivanna & Trish) take on the 0-2 Surly Gurlies...
ARIZONA DERBY DAMES
Congratulations to the Runaway Brides for their first derby victory over the Bombshells in a bout that beats the margin record set by the School Yard Scrappers against the Bombshells in the previous bout.

ARIZONA ROLLER DERBY
Surly Gurlies beat the Bruisers. We do not have the exact score but it was our understanding that the Surlys scored approximately 90 points and the Bruisers scored about 60.
Once we have official results, we will post them here. Both the Surlies and Bruisers end their regulation season at 1-2. In the way of points, the Bruisers would take place over the Surlies.
