Fire damages roof of Angel City warehouse, cancels tournament
On Wednesday (October 29, 2025), a fire that started outside caused serious damage to the roof of the warehouse used as the primary venue for Angel City Derby, located at 785 E. 14th Pl. in Los Angeles. The fire was first reported at 8:16AM. When crews from Los Angeles City Fire Department arrived, they indicated that smoke was showing from the roof. Firefighters went into an offensive mode and saw fire showing through the hole that they cut in the roof.
